Montreal Playwright Vittorio Rossi in conversation with Brendan Kelly
Montreal playwright, actor, and screenwriter Vittorio Rossi is widely considered to be the inaugural Italian-Canadian voice on the English-Canadian stage. His award-winning plays have been produced in Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, New York City, Boston, and Syracuse and have graced the stages of the Centaur Theatre in Old Montreal and the Stratford Festival in Ontario. On May 1st, his peers will come together to pay homage to him at the Rialto Theatre, a former movie palace inspired by the Paris Opera House. The evening will highlight Rossi's impressive body of work over the last three decades as well as upcoming projects. The Tribute to Vittorio Rossi will be taking place in conjunction with the BLUE MET Metropolis Bleu Festival from May 2- May 5. For tickets: www.theatrerialto.ca
