Fight On! Part Two

by Deborah Rankin

Fight On! Part Two continues where Fight On! Part One left off. This staged reading is a polemical recounting of the settlement/occupation of the Canadian West. Written and directed by Guy Sprung, the play is based on the life of Francis (Frank) Jeffrey Dickens the third son of the Victorian English novelist Charles Dickens and chronicles his time in the North West Mounted Police from 1874-1885.

The somewhat fictionalized story of Francis Dickens plays out against the backdrop of the larger story of how the West was won or lost depending on where you stand. Infinithéâtre's developmental performance of Fight On! Part Two takes place from Mar. 21-24 @ Infinithéâtre, Espace Knox in NDG at 8pm ( 6215 avenue Godfrey, NDG).

Starring Patrick Abellard, Danny Brochu, Shawn Campbell, Brefny Curtin, Manouchka Elinor, Wahiakeron George Gilbert, Tyson Houseman, Howard Rosenstein and Ivan Smith
